The Sadies Announce 'Colder Streams,' Produced by Richard Reed ParryThe band have announced a tour in support of the albumRichard Reed Parry confirmed that he had produced a new album for the band. Now, that album has been announced: Colder Streams is out July 22 through Dine Alone Records. "The Sadies' world has been shaken," the band said in a joint statement. "While we struggle with the loss of Dallas — our brother, friend and bandmate — music has been our source of comfort and coping. We are honoured to announce the release of our new album, Colder Streams. We are so proud of Dallas and the work that went into this album and look forward to sharing it with you." The album was recorded between 2019 and 2021 at Montreal's Skybarn. It contains 11 original songs, and was largely engineered and mixed by Pietro Amato (with one song engineered and mixed by Michael Dubue). It features a guest appearance from Jon Spencer, along with Good's parents Margaret and Bruce. Get a taste of the album via a lyric video for the track "Cut Up High and Dry" below. Parry said, "I was utterly thrilled the Sadies asked me to produce this record, which mostly meant I just hung around listening to the greatest live band in the country playing their asses off, and then occasionally I'd get off the couch and sing backing vocals. That said, this is the Sadies' finest album, the one I always hoped they'd make one day, and I'm stoked to have been there helping them do it. What an incredible band." The Sadies have announced a tour in support of the album. See the tour schedule below, along with the Colder Streams tracklist. Currently, they only have one Canadian date, on July 8 at Winnipeg Folk Festival. Colder Streams: 1. Stop and Start 2. Message to Belial 3. More Alone 4. So Far for So Few 5. All the Good 6.
