Metro Boomin Claims He Was Hacked by a Torontonian When He Posted Drake, 21 Savage Disses
"All these 416 numbers would call me back [to] back a million times"
The super producer who teamed up with Future for WE DON'T TRUST YOU — which included Kendrick's diss verse on "Like That" — has been in the news lately for posting and liking tweets that some people think are attacking Drake and his Her Loss collaborator, 21 Savage.
"I see a lot of n—s been scared to post the album too," the alleged hacker wrote in a now-deleted post from Metro's account, which included a pair of hashtags. "I forgive but I don't forget," one read.
Apparently, he regained control from the hacker yesterday, according to an announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
"Got my phone [number] and accounts back today," he revealed. "Somebody hacked me the day the album dropped ... and all those corny ass tweets, all my day [ones] know that's nowhere in my character. All positivity always on my end."
He then goes on to imply that he suspects a Toronto individual of hacking him due to a series of calls he received from the 416 area code right before he got hacked.
Perhaps to clear up the beef — or, better yet, to double down — Metro also revealed another joint album with Future is set to come out April 12.
