Freddie Gibbs Announces New Album '$oul $old $eparately,' Shares Single "Too Much"

Alfredo, produced entirely by the Alchemist. That effort was among Exclaim!'s 50 Best Albums of 2020 — while simultaneously holding down a spot on Exclaim!'s Worst Album Covers of 2020.

The album's title previously appeared in the final line of Gibbs' verse on "Education," a standout from his 2019 team-up with Madlib, Bandana. A release shares how it refers to the artist's "refusal to compromise his morals or integrity under the pressures of the industry."

While a tracklist for $oul $old $eparately has yet to materialize, news of the album has been preceded by singles including the ScHoolboy Q-assisted "Gang Signs," "4 Thangs" with Big Sean, "Big Boss Rabbit," "Black Illuminati" with Jadakiss and "Ice Cream" with Rick Ross.

Now, new arrival "Too Much" joins that list of tracks, complete with a guest verse from Moneybagg Yo and an accompanying video directed by JMP in which the collaborators hit the jackpot at a casino.

$oul $old $eparately is now available for pre-order
