Drake Seems to Address Kendrick Lamar's Diss Track on Stage
"No matter what, there’s not a n— on this Earth that could ever fuck with me"
"A lot of people asking me how I'm feeling. I'm gonna let you know how I'm feeling... I got my fucking head up high, my back straight, I'm 10 fucking toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go," he proclaimed. "And I know that no matter what, there's not a n— on this Earth that could ever fuck with me in my life!"
By all appearances, Kendrick's diss came out of nowhere — on Drake and Cole's For All the Dogs collab "First Person Shooter," which Kendrick directly references in his verse, Cole paid his respects to Kendrick and, other than that, neither rapper has said anything about him.
"Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? / We the big three like we started a league," Cole rapped.
In response, on Future and Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You, Kendrick spat, "Fuck sneak dissin,' 'First Person Shooter' / I hope they came with three switches," and, later, "Motherfuck the big three, n—, it's just big me."
There's also been speculation online that the beef could've stemmed from a personal dispute between Future and Drake over a shared romantic interest.
No matter the case, it remains unclear if or when Drake and Cole will explicitly respond to the diss as it stands. However, there have been whispers that Cole will hit back on his upcoming album The Fall Off.
