Cadence Weapon Announces Deluxe Edition of 'Parallel World,' Shares "SENNA" Remix
The Polaris Prize-winning album gets reimagined by collaborators including Ciel, Martyn Bootyspoon and CFCF
Out March 25 via MNRK, the expansive project features remixed and reimagined versions of six of the album tracks. Pemberton enlisted a collection of collaborators from across Canada, alongside London-based innovators Logan and Loraine James to embrace his affinity for UK grime and club culture.
"I was searching for producers who I feel like are really groundbreaking and pushing barriers. That's the thing I'm always attracted to musically," Pemberton explained in a statement. "My initial thought was, 'How can I help give a bigger platform to these artists who I know personally, but who are some of the most innovative artists in Canada?'"
His selections include the aforementioned Greene and fellow Torontonians Ciel and Harrison, as well as Montreal's Martyn Bootyspoon and CFCF.

Recently, Pemberton condemned the "freedom convoy" as a "cross-country field trip" and teamed up with Busty and the Bass on "Airplanes."
